China is redrawing its maritime regulations in retaliation against US tariffs and forthcoming port fees announced by the US trade representative, in what could be a tit-for-tat fee imposition.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang signed into decree changes to its maritime regulations, backdated to take effect on 28 September.
